Travelling to London (and Paris for a day) this past October marked my first time in Europe. Obviously, it was everything I expected and more. Lovely culture, beautiful architecture, and great shopping.

Photos are of The Eye, but mostly taken while on it. It’s essentially a gigantic ferris wheel (443 feet tall!) situated on the banks of the River Thames. It overlooks London, offering tourists (and maybe locals?) a fantastic view, especially of Big Ben and parliament. From seeing photos in the past, I didn’t expect much of the giant clock attraction, but I found it absolutely stunning in person.
