Sup. What’s new, you ask? Lol, a lot. Also nothing. I finally have a portfolio site up, but that’s old news already. I have a plethora of fun, new projects on the go, the fruits of which I’m hoping I’ll be able to show off soon. I’m sitting in a coffee shop doing work for the first time in months, whilst this used to be a very regular thing. So that’s interesting, I suppose. Okay, bye?

Found: Forgotten Thoughts.
I drafted this post back in August, but decided against posting it. However, the thoughts still ring rather true: — The last days of August always fill me with a sense of anxiety. This is now my third summer wherein September holds no looming meaning of school approaching. My last real blog post was about check points, and New Year’s Resolutions. Well, if you’ve had any sort of meaningful conversation with me in the past few months, I’ve likely hinted at the fact that it’s been quite the surreal roller coaster of a year. I am without a doubt a different person I was in 2013. Now. Time and change [...]
I THINK UR A CONTRA
It’s been an incredibly strange year with many ups and downs. If last year was weird, I can safely say that four months in, this one has already been more interesting. I’m a different person than I was even just a month or two ago. I have consciously (perhaps impulsively) made large changes in my life to get closer to the person I want to be. We’ll see how it all works out. The above is the result of going three days without Internet. The below is a good overview of my listening habits this year (and, I suppose, who has been influencing said listening habits). I Think Ur a [...]
2014, etc.: Unedited musings/babble
Pearson Airport – gate awaiting flight, January 3rd, 10:32 AM I’m about to board a plane to New York. It’s not a big deal, but it’s a reminder of the first time I boarded a plane sans-family. I was 17, which in other words means I was at my most angst-filled. I remember listening to Jack’s Mannequin’s Everything in Transit album and thinking that it just made sense for what was happening to me at that specific point of time less in a lyrical sense, but just in how it felt. And now, boarding another plane nearly 8 years later (8 years, what??), the idea of how things feel are [...]
Notes to Self.
This is a collection of fun things I’ve come across on the interwebs. Recently I clicked on my Gmail drafts folder and was surprised to find an array of links I had left drafted in emails in hopes of remembering to read/look/peruse them later. Am I the only one who does this? Interestingly enough, these links spanned over the past three years, and I thought I’d share them because it’s been nice re-discovering them. I have personally always enjoyed reading and looking through lists of links that other people thought were interesting. Examples of such are Gala Darling‘s “Carousel” and Danielle Meder‘s “Click Click Click”. A warning though: the following [...]
