Sometimes I make things that really belong on Tumblr. But at least I’m making things…right?

I THINK UR A CONTRA
It’s been an incredibly strange year with many ups and downs. If last year was weird, I can safely say that four months in, this one has already been more interesting. I’m a different person than I was even just a month or two ago. I have consciously (perhaps impulsively) made large changes in my life to get closer to the person I want to be. We’ll see how it all works out. The above is the result of going three days without Internet. The below is a good overview of my listening habits this year (and, I suppose, who has been influencing said listening habits). I Think Ur a [...]
Fall vibes
The beginning of autumn, regardless of whether that involves going back to school or not always feels like a transitional, contemplative period. It’s also strange coming back from vacation and immediately settling into ~fall vibes~ but I’m not complaining. As much as I miss the California sunshine, non-sensical sweaters + shorts weather is my favourite kind. Anyway, this is what I’ve been listening to of late; lots of music that kind of “feel” fall to me. Also, related: AM, the new Arctic Monkeys album is kind of amazing — I feel like I’m listening to John Lennon re-incarnated or something. It’s snowing.
It’s cold out and snowing quite a lot. I’ve heard that this is supposed to be the worst snowstorm in the past two years. In reality, that’s not so bad because winters have been mild…but I’m still not a fan of it. This is music that’s kind of winter-y in a sleepy-lazy-stay-home-and-drink-tea kind of way. At least for me. Enjoy. Winter Blues = Summer Nostalgia
Seeing as temperatures have been astoundingly cold and all I’ve been wanting to do is stay indoors drinking tea, I’m finding myself nostalgic for warm summer days. These are just a few lacklustre photos from my trip to Montreal last August for Osheaga, Canada’s Coachella imitation festival. The trip was comprised of good music, plentiful shopping, and copious amounts of poutine consumption. Despite the extreme heat/torrential rain, lack of cell phone reception, and bad tan lines that I probably still have, Osheaga was an experience I would definitely repeat.
